Miercuri s-au disputat ultimele jocuri din turul I al Internationalelor Frantei de la Roland Garros si tot miercuri sau debutat si primele jocuri din turul al doilea de pe tablourile de simplu. In aceasta faza avem doar doi sportivi romani, Victor Hanescu si Sorana Carstea.
Toate cele patru fete din tara noastra care au intrat pe tabloul de simplu vor juca si in intrecerea de dublu. La masculin, nu avem nici un reprezentant in proba de perechi. Si pentru ca nici joi sa nu mearga totul perfect, peste terenurile aflate la Roland Garros s-a abatut din nou ploaia.
Dupa ce ieri o laudam pe Sorana Carstea, care a invins-o cu 6/0, 3/0 abandon pe Anne Kremer, astazi putem spune ca Sorana s-a cam umplut de penibil, servind un 0/6, 0/6 in fata favoritei 16, Viktoria Azarenka. Sa speram ca va fi ceva trecator si ca jucatoarea noastra, care abia a implinit 18 ani, isi va putea continua cariera la nivel inalt.
Victor Hanescu a intrat si el pe teren in fata lui Florent Serra. A pierdut primele doua seturi, 4/6, 3/6, dar l-a castigat pe al treilea in tie-break, moment in care jocul s-a intrerupt din cauza intunericului, urmand sa se reia vineri. Si-a terminat insa si el povestea la simplu vineri dupa-amiaza.
