Nominalizarile la premiile Oscar 2008

Academia Americana de Film a anuntat, marti, lista nominalizatilor la premiile Oscar 2008, filmul cu cele mai multe noinalizari fiind "No Country for Old Men" ("Nu exista tara pentru batrani") – care si-a trecut in palmares o serie de distinctii, inclusiv la Globurile de Aur. A 80-a editia a Oscarurilor nu a fost insa cu noroc pentru regizorul Roman Cristian Mungiu, care nu a fost selectat cu al sau ”3,2,1” printre filmele finaliste la categoria celor mai bune productii straine.

Filmele "There Will Be Blood", in regia lui Paul Thomas Anderson, si "Nu exista tara pentru batrani", in regia fratilor Joel si Ethan Coen, au obtinut fiecare cate opt nominalizari la premiile Oscar. In topul filmelor cu cele mai multe nominalizari la editia din 2008 a premiilor Oscar urmeaza "Atonement" (7), in regia lui Joe Wright, si "Michael Clayton" (7), de Tony Gilroy. Ceremonia de decernare a premiilor Oscar va avea loc pe 24 februarie, la Teatrul Kodak din Los Angeles.
